Seneca Environmental Solutions Ltd is a leading waste and resource recovery company specialising in the production of refused derived fuel (RDF).

Seneca as one of the largest UK RDF producers, partnering with Europe’s leading energy from waste plant operators.

PMcK were responsible  for the Design and Installation of the Electrical Engineering Services for a 180,000 Sq ft bespoke RDF Plant

The installation comprises of 11KV Medium Voltage Instake Substation and Distribution, Package Substations and LV Distribution around the mammoth site.

Lighting and Small Power throughout, with and Air Aspirating VESDA fire detection system.

PMcK were also rtasked with the design, build and installation of the bespoke materials handling electrical Automations systems. With Multiple Motor Controls Centres across the site for Material Intake, Weighing & Sorting , Shredding and Screening, Baling, Wrapping and Bale Handling, PMcK designed and Installed the RDF system to encompass over 500 Motors ranging from 0.5k to 250kw, with control achieved over a Distributed I/O System.
